Diving in the shark-infected waters off Isla de Coco, we came across a sealed gold box. Gazing in wild wonder, we opened the box to find an old leather pouch containing a gold doubloom, a black silk eye patch, a hand-scrawled recipe to a long forgotten condiment and a small bond of unknown origin. Thus we christened this savory sauce from the briny blue, "Pirates Blend."
